Kids in the Kitchen
Great Birthday party fun! Classes for kids 8 – 14 years, focus on the basic principles of cooking with a fully hands-on, fun approach. Our classes are developed to ignite the passion in budding young chefs. The children are encouraged to forage in our vegetable garden for the freshest, healthy ingredients, and then cook alongside the teacher to prepare exciting, tasty dishes. Children will be introduced to cooking vocabulary and techniques, tools and utensils, basics of nutrition, safety, and new foods!
Classes run for 2 1/2 hours and are great for birthday parties and other celebrations. We use a cyclic menu so kids can attend up to four sessions and experience different foods in each class. Talk to us about a personalised menu to suit your event and skill level.
