Flavours of the Valley is not liable to you or any other for any loss in connection with the use of this Web Site. This general disclaimer is not restricted or modified by any of the following specific warnings and disclaimers.
Flavours of the Valley reserves the right to amend the Terms of Use at any time. Under no circumstances will Flavours of the Valley be liable for any indirect, incidental, special and/or consequential damages or loss of profits whatsoever which result from any use or access of, or any inability to use or access, the Website.

"We" and "us" refers to Flavours of the Valley, and "our" has the same meaning.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia and you irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia and any courts, which may hear appeals from those courts.
Nothing contained in these Terms of Use derogates from Flavours of the Valley right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of this Web Site or information provided to or gathered by Flavours of the Valley with respect to that use.
Terms & Conditions for All Bookings (including Scheduled Classes/Tours/ Gift vouchers/Corporate Classes/Private Functions, Private Tours)
All bookings for any class/tour including scheduled classes/gift vouchers/corporate classes and private functions, the following terms and conditions apply:
- Prices include GST.
- All purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable to another class date.
- Flavours of the Valley does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of or connected with its website or for any products or services purchased from its web site.
- Flavours of the Valley does not guarantee that the Flavours of the Valley site is free from errors or faults, We will however make our best efforts to ensure that the information available on its website is accurate. Further Flavours of the Valley does not accept liability for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information published on the site at any time.
- These terms do not affect a consumer’s statutory rights.
- Please note we do not offer disabled facilities. Please contact us to see if we can accommodate your booking.
- Flavours of the Valley accepts no responsibility for lost property whatsoever. If any property has been left behind and found by a member of our staff, we advise you to organize a suitable courier to collect your goods at a convenient time. Any lost property which has not been claimed in 7 days will be given to charity.
- Menus are subject to change.
- Flavours of the Valley is not responsible for any allergies, illness or reactions including leading to death from any food served at any time in our premises. Please advise us in writing of any special dietary requirements at time of booking.
- Classes/Tours start promptly, so please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time as the most important part is the at the beginning of the class/tour. We cannot answer calls during classes and unfortunately if you are late we cannot interrupt the class to take you back to the beginning.
- If in the reasonable opinion of a member of staff working for us you are not fit to attend a class/tour, he or she may refuse to let you attend. Normally this happens if such person thinks you are intoxicated or likely to disturb or harm other customers attending the class. In this case your contract with Flavours of the Valley will end immediately and we will no longer be responsible for you.
Indemnity and Risk Waiver
Flavours of the Valley accepts no responsibility for any loss or injury to persons or property as a result of participating in any of the events.
In the case of an emergency I authorise the program staff, where it is impracticable to communicate with me to arrange for myself/child/ward to receive such medical or surgical treatment as may be deemed necessary. I also undertake to pay or reimburse costs, which may be incurred for medical attention, ambulance transport and drugs while I or my child/ward is enrolled with the program.
I understand that although Flavours of the Valley attempt to minimise any risk of personal injury within practical boundaries, accidents do happen and all physical activities carry the risk of personal injury. I acknowledge that there is an inherent risk of personal injury in physical activities that will be undertaken as part of this program and I agree that I or my child/ward undertakes the activities at my/his/her own risk.
I release and indemnify the Flavours of the Valley, its employees, servants, agents and service providers against all actions, suits, claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, compensation, costs, charges and any expenses whatsoever arising directly or indirectly out of any personal injury to myself or my child/ward howsoever occasioned.
Terms & Conditions for Scheduled Classes/Tours (including redeeming a gift voucher)
These terms & conditions should be read in conjunction with terms & conditions relating to All Bookings.
Specifically with regard to bookings for our schedule classes (adults and children), including classes advertised by the media, the following conditions apply:
- Fees for classes must be paid in advance in order to secure your booking. Classes are only confirmed once full payment has been received. At this point no refunds or transfers to another class can occur. Class sizes are limited so bookings are essential.
- As no further reminder regarding class dates will be given, it is important to note the class dates. Classes cannot be transferred nor money refunded, but you are welcome to send someone in your place if you are unable to attend your class.
- In the unlikely event that a scheduled class does not reach minimum numbers or due to unforeseen exceptional circumstances Flavours of the Valley reserves the right to change the date of the class or cancel. If that occurs, a refund will be given.
- Children can only be accepted at Flavours of the Valley once a child enrolment form has been completed and signed by a parent or guardian and sent to us.
- Flavours of the Valley accepts no responsibility for refunds, transfers or postponements should the customer/company be unable to attend a confirmed date due to any unforeseen circumstances.
- Flavours of the Valley takes no responsibility in any event for any person attending a class intoxicated, driving a vehicle over the statutory limits, or for loss of a driver’s licence.
- Flavours of the Valley does not guarantee the availability of any of the classes (adult or children advertised on the site or by the media.
- The cost of your class includes:
- Ingredients for your class
- Tutoring includes Hands-on, Demonstrations & Recipes
- Setting up for your class, table linen, cutlery, glassware, napkins & water
- A full meal
- Staff for the full duration of the class.
Terms & Conditions for Corporate Classes/Private Functions
These terms & conditions should be read in conjunction with terms & conditions relating to All Bookings.
Specifically with regard to corporate classes, team building exercises, any private function including birthdays, hen’s nights or any event where you are hiring our services exclusively for your function - the following conditions apply:
- Fees for the event must be paid in full in advance in order to confirm your booking. Your event is only confirmed once full payment has been made. At this point no refunds or transfers to another date can occur.
- As no further reminder regarding your event date will be given, it is important to note the date in you diary.
- Your event cannot be transferred or postponed to another date nor any fees refunded.
- In the unlikely event of unforeseen exceptional circumstances, Flavours of the Valley reserves the right to change the date of the class or cancel. If that occurs, a refund will be given.
- Flavours of the Valley accepts no responsibility for refund, transfers or postponements should the customer/company be unable to attend a confirmed event due to any unforeseen circumstances.
- As we do not have a liquor licence, please provide your own wine for classes.
- Flavours of the Valley takes no responsibility in any event for any person attending a class/tour intoxicated, driving a vehicle over the statutory limits, or for loss of a driver’s licence.
- The cost of your class/tour is all inclusive.
Terms & Conditions for Gift Voucher
These terms & conditions should be read in conjunction with terms & conditions relating to All Bookings.
By ordering a gift voucher or booking for any class using a gift voucher, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- Postal gift vouchers are for delivery to Australian addresses only. Please contact Flavours of the Valley to make arrangements for overseas delivery. An additional postage charge will apply.
- All gift vouchers unless otherwise stated will be sent using Australia Post
- Vouchers will be sent to you in accordance with your instructions and we accept no responsibility for their delivery. Flavours of the Valley is not responsible for the time it takes for vouchers/goods to be delivered or condition they arrive in. We process all vouchers promptly and dispatch in good condition.
- If you lose your gift voucher, it may be possible to locate it as normally all our issued vouchers carry a security code.
- All purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable.
- No refunds are available (including where incorrect quantities are ordered).
- Gift vouchers are sold as vouchers only and are not redeemable for money. The can only be redeemed for the first available date as determined by Flavours of the Valley
- Should you use our site to send a gift, you'll be providing details of people who may never have visited our site. Flavours of the Valley will not disclose the recipient addresses and will not send them any promotional information other than that specific product i.e. the gift.
Voucher Expiry Dates
- Vouchers purchased direct from Flavours of the Valley are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
- Flavours of the Valley accepts no responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances you incur in redeeming your voucher. You are welcome to transfer this voucher to a friend and confirm the person attending in your place.
- Voucher expiry dates cannot be changed under any circumstance.
Gift Vouchers purchased from a Third Party . If your voucher has been purchased from a third party (in that case we will be their supplier), you will be under their terms and conditions including expiry dates until your place has been confirmed in a class at Flavours of the Valley. You will then be subject to Flavours of the Valley terms and conditions.
Data Protection & Privacy Policy
What do we do with your personal information? When you buy anything via the site or give us any personal data as indicated above, to process the transaction, fulfill your order and provide you with the services you expect then and in the future. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, your address, your phone number and your credit card details. By becoming a subscriber you consent to receive from us by e-mail our e-newsletter and details of other special offers which we may think may be of interest to you. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Credit card security
Your credit card details are only used to fulfill your purchase or booking, and are securely stored. They are not used for any other purpose and will never be supplied to a third party.
